Fall Workshop
Playwriting
This day-long workshop by noted playwright Lisa Soland will cover writing monologues (“the one-person play”), ten-minute plays, and longer formats, as well as the business aspects of playwriting.
Registration Fees: $85.
Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks before the morning session are included.

Lisa Soland
Playwright, author, and director Lisa Soland is currently touring with her hit play Sergeant York: The Play, based on the life of WWI hero Alvin C. York to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of World War I. Her plays Waiting, Cabo San Lucas, Truth Be Told, The Man in the Gray Suit and The Name Game have been published by Samuel French Inc. While living in Los Angeles, she produced and/or directed more than 80 productions and play readings, 55 of which were original.
Soland teaches playwriting at Maryville College, Lincoln Memorial University, and at various workshops throughout the United States. She has more than 50 international publications, including her children’s books Somebunny To Love, The Christmas Tree Angel, The Unmade Moose, Thump, and The Boy & the Bagel Necklace.
